Started over 10 years ago by Marjorie Schlossman, The Plains School of Abstract Painting will feature nineteen different artists in this exhibition. Members include professional artists as well as beginners.  This group meets every Wednesday morning at the Plains Art Museum. Their intention is to practice and promote abstract painting as a viable, ongoing creative expression that speaks in a unique and profound way in todays technical world.
