Healing Touch belongs to a family of "energy healing" that addresses the condition of the body's energy system. "Curing," or merely the removal of symptoms, is not seen as the goal; but rather, interventions are utilized to promote relaxation which seems to allow the innate self-healing of the individual to emerge. Healing is seen as a movement toward wholeness, balance and harmony of the mind, body, emotion, and spirit.

Chakras, or centers through which the body apparently receives energy from the Universal Field; meridians, or lines along which the energy flows throughout the body; and seven layers of the biofield surrounding the physical body are cleared and balanced by the Healing Touch Practitioner.

I am a Level IV Healing Touch International Practicioner Apprentice., finishing this inction November 2011. I also have a B.A. in Psychology from NDSU and a M.ED. in Counseling Psychology from the University of Missouri - Columbia.
