Kimble Bromley received his M.F.A. from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale and currently is a Professor of Art teaching painting and drawing at North Dakota State University. His work has been inspired
by environments in which he lives and has visited, as well as being influenced by Herman Melville and MOBY-DICK. As a hypnotherapist, Bromley has developed his Creativity Enhancement Workshop Bromley assisting participants to open up to their inherent creativity. He has served as a visiting artist throughout the upper Midwest, Ecuador, Mexico and England. He has painted abroad in Cuba, Jamaica, Ecuador, and Mexico. His work has been exhibited regionally, nationally and internationally and supported by grants from Lake Region Arts Council, North Dakota Arts Council, Kellogg, Teagle/Bell South, and Partners of the Americas and exhibited internationally, nationally and regionally.
