Sally Pat Williamson
Resident Artist
Sally Pat Williamson is a surrealist multimedia artist from Athens, Georgia, currently based in Fargo, North Dakota. Sally’s work tends towards ‘girly’ bizarre aesthetics made with mostly unconventional media and traditional oil paint renderings. She is drawn to feminine imagery and absurd abstraction, which is what most of her work consists of (something her older sister graciously coined, “surrealist Phunk”). Conceptually, most of Sally’s artworks revolve around her intimate relationships with those closest to her and the absurdities of living in a world so enamored with upholding the antiquated gender binary.
In 2019, Sally Pat displayed her work in Cortona, Italy at “La Mostra”, as well as UGA’s Lamar Dodd School of Art Cortona Exhibition. Sally Pat received a BFA in interdisciplinary art at the University of Georgia’s Lamar Dodd School of Art. She is currently focusing on public art in the local Fargo-Morehead area.
In 2025, Sally joined the Spirit Room as our Resident Artist and administrative assistant. If you stop by during office hours you might be able to catch her working on her art!
