  • Maps of the Heart: Immigrant Tales of Belonging and Becoming

    June 26th, 2025. 6:30-8:00pm CST

Maps of the Heart is a collection of stories set in the former Yugoslavia and the United States, following protagonists through moments of love, grief, resilience, and self-discovery. These stories outline the emotional maps they carry, revealing how the past shapes their identities and choices. Exploring the tension between belonging and displacement, memory and reality, the collection examines what it means to leave one’s homeland and seek connection across time, distance, and generations.
